Another value-added program that benefits our customers and is ONLY available by Chrysler Five Star Dealers. We send the VIN to Chrysler and they tell us if the vehicle qualifies to be certified. Chrysler will not qualify any gray market vehicles or any vehicle that has had any major repairs such as flood damage, salvage title, etc.
Once Chrysler OK's the vehicle for certification, it is required to go through a 125-point safety inspection. We even do the required maintenance to 6,000 miles beyond what's on the vehicle (i.e. If a vehicle has 25,000 miles and the owner's manual recommends a transmission service at 30,000 miles we do the service!)
After the vehicles service is completed, the next step is an intense reconditioning process. The vehicle is cleaned inside and out to resemble a new vehicle.
Last, but not least! The vehicle is then certified. This activates the 8 year / 80,000 mile transferable Chrysler Powertrain Limited Warranty. Included as well is roadside assistance and a rental allowance in case of a breakdown that keeps your vehicle overnight for the 8 year / 80,000 mile term.
